Sports are a main focus
and passion in my life. I’ve always been actively involved in participating in and
watching sports, especially football, baseball, and basketball. Since I was a
kid, I’ve always been passionate about sports. I still remember my first
football game. I was in 6th grade and I was a wide receiver. I
didn’t get a whole lot of time compared to the higher classmen, but I got a
catch on my only target of the game and I played solid defense. I was, and still
am, a small kid, but I had a ton of heart and love of the game. That’s what
kept me going and kept me from doubting myself based on my size. It was the
same way with baseball, soccer, and basketball. I love competition and just
having fun playing. I played soccer for more than twelve years and baseball
even longer. I also got involved in track, cross country, and tennis. If it’s
something I love doing, I go harder than anyone out there. It doesn’t always
come easy though; a lot of hard work and dedication goes into improving your
game and being the best you can be. If you’re passionate about it, training
should feel rewarding. It’s worth every hour in the batting cage and every rep
at the gym to better yourself for the sport you’re involved in. Sports are my
passion because it’s such a big part of my life and it’s something that
wouldn’t want to be without.
